JOB OPENING:

WEST VIRGINIA SUMMER FUN RAFFLE:  Click to see the 2010 WV Longaberger basket filled with local gift cards and prizes that Pan Tran is raffling off.  The drawing is Friday, July 30th. 
DUCHESS GRADUATES:  The Pan Tran mascot, Duchess the Saint Bernard, graduated from Beginner Classes at Pet Smart in Martinsburg.
JUNE 2010:
The Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority (Pan Tran) recently approved a change in Demand Response fares and zones. Effective July 1, 2010 the Demand Response fare is $4 plus the $2 fare and $1 per zone change. The zone changes will increase the areas of service to all of Berkeley & Jefferson Counties. There will be no change to fixed route service. 
 
Berkeley County Zones:
Zone 1:  the intersection of Rock Cliff Drive and I-81, following I-81 South to and including The Commons shopping area, following Apple Harvest Drive to Grapevine Road to Blairton Road, crossing Rt. 45 West to Eagle School Road to Warm Springs Avenue back to the intersection with I-81.
 
Zone 2:  Hedgesville High School, Rt. 9 West to the intersection with Butlers Chapel Road, Butlers Chapel Road to the intersection of Dry Run Road and Thatcher Road, following Thatcher Road to Arden Nollville Road to Tabler Station Road to Novak Drive to Airport Road to Paynes Ford Road to Short Road to Baker Road to Files Cross Road to Swan Pond Road to Greensburg Road to Jacobs Road to Scrabble Road to Bedington Road to Nipetown Road to Ropp Drive to Cumbo Road to the James Rumsey Technical Institute and Hedgesville High School.
 
Zone 3:  Tomahawk Elementary School to Back Creek Valley Road to Rt. 45 to Rt. 51 to the Jefferson County line, then following the county line north to the intersection with I-81 at the Maryland border, following I-81 South to Grade Road to Kitchens Orchard Road to Koontztown Road to Hammond's Road to Rt. 9 West back to Tomahawk Elementary School. 
 
Zone 4:  all outlying areas of Berkeley County not covered in the previous 3 zones.
 
Jefferson County Zones:
Zone 5:  Rt. 9 from Bardane thru Charles Town to the intersection of Rt. 340 to Washington High School to Augustine Avenue to Summit Point Road to Earle Road to Darke Lane to Old Leetown Pike to Wiltshire Road and back to Bardane.
 
Zone 6:  Warm Springs Road to Luther Jones Road to Melvin Road to Kidwiler Road to Best Road, then following the Potomac River to Harpers Ferry and following the county line south to Keys Gap, to Charles Town Road to Kabletown Road to Old Cave Road to Washington High School to Huyett Road to South Jefferson Elementary School to Leetown Road back to Warm Springs Road.
 
Zone 7:  all outlying areas of Jefferson County not covered in the previous two zones.
