DBE Program
Notice is hereby given that The Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority has established an overall program goal of 5.3% for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE) participation in contract opportunities resulting from projects funded in whole or in part by the United States Department of Transportation, for Fiscal Year 2010. The goal can be met through race and gender-conscious and neutral methods. A description of how the goal was determined is available for public inspection for thirty (30) days from the date of this notice, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the address shown below. Public comments regarding the goal will be accepted for forty-five (45) days from the date of this notice.
It is the policy of The Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority that certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises shall have an opportunity to participate to the maximum extent feasible in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with United States Department of Transportation funds.
